radaeron --> Oh gosh, not you too! LOL.... When meeting new people, I always hear, "'Do I know you?' or 'You look like someone I know!'" I've come to accept it, but it used to really aggravate me when I was a teenager! Sáille --> That's incredible! Especially about the fae & elven bit... (how did you know that?! Right on!) I've been *aware* that I am "elven" and have some contact with the fae world for a long time (played around with labels like "otherkin", "changeling", "elf, "fae", etc as I was 'waking up'.....I'm not sure about being "otherkin" but I can't seem to shake the crazy idea that I am "elven", whatever it is, whatever it means, whatever its worth.... and a lot of other folks also sense it, too -- but generally not without knowing me a little better first!) You're very gifted...... prUuf --> Interesting. A lot of people say I look cat-like, too. I don't know about the Miauz. Where can I find some more information?

@ Awakened: The first thing I actually stared at was your back because I had the distinct impression that it needed wings to be complete. ;D The way you look at the camera and your general body/face shape reminds me of the Fae People, especially of the ones I sometimes receive "flashes of memory" of. I'm glad my yabbering made some sense to you, haha!

I don't use symbols, codes or any of those things... I just connect. I don't need all the fancy names to get to the bottom of things.

So many awesome pictures! Keep them comming.
There is a problem with this thread, in my opinion. In some ways this thread has managed to create some contempt within the community, confusing some people.
For the first time everyones photos are available here and this does make the forum alot more intimate. One of the great findings from modern psyschology is that images generate a far greater "sensation" than any concept or text. For example, the christian image of god being a man with white beard sitting on a throne is still held as the image of god by many christians today. It has become a very powerful avatar, more powerful than many theories in the bible. Images or "Maps" are also used to create beleif systems or systems of thought because they are far more effective to remember, particularly if you have a creative mind. This is why there are diagrams or maps of chakras etc, even though it is understood the map is not the territory, the territory is explored more effectively with the correct map.
Where the problem lies is that there has been some readings of peoples pictures which have been rather harsh. I think we have to keep in mind that we must be careful with the things we say about each other. I think there has been a few people in this thread who have been left out of the fun, and had some critical things said about them, accompanying by their pictures which remember, is a stronger sensation than any concept of text. Particularly when accessing the forum through memory (when away from computer), one will use pictures often because of their significance in memory. Many people here have an active dreaming mind and that readings associated with their picture may have a detrimental effect.
Granted that alot of the members of this forum use a beleif system which incorporates values from occult / new age schools, it is subtly implied that the act of divination is done with some objective accuracy. This potentially creates a problem because people can be confused when they beleive that there is great accuracy in their readings. Divination involves accessing an alternate state of mind using some method, in this case a picture, we must keep in mind not all readings are absolute, and some may have a hidden meaning, perhaps a signal of friendship or the opposite. (as an example)
In my opinion I think that people have to be more mindful of what they say about each other, particularly when they are accessing the "one source", "akashic records", "subtle and causal realms", "non-dual" states etc. It is possible to process psychic intuition of someones identity while viewing their picture. This may be confused however, by the identity of the person beeing analysed and their prescence within the forums nervous system. This may be felt through the language style the member uses, the avatars they choose, instead of actually trying to give them a reading about their true real self as they are on earth, not in cyberspace. A forum is a very complex external nervous system which can be accessed at anytime. My opinion is that this confusion between internet identity and real self has occured in some of the readings and has proven inaccurate. There is many more aspects to someones being than just their picture or their forum prescence. Much more information can be gather through the way that they talk / compose themselves, the way their eyes flicker and cognitive ability in conversation. A person may also be developed in many different areas and can not generally be summed up in a paragraph! There are stages in kinesthetic, cognitive/intellectual, moral, psychic to name a few. One can be developed in one area and have severe pathological symptoms in other areas. Getting more technical you also have the gross body (physical), subtle body (dreamstate) and causal body (pure spirit). All 3 of these bodies have a serpate auras which may be completely of its own level of development and felt by another through senses and other psychic awareness.
There is, in my opinion, some contempt with a few members who feel somewhat confused about what someone else has said about them, and because it is in the ritual of divination it is implied that these are somewhat accurate. It is a complex process and to accept this thread as having an absolute nature, I think, is a bit dangerous. I think its important that we be more mindful when doing our divinations, be more general, forgiving, and playful! but most of all dont leave anyone out!

*huggles Brendan* I personally don't mean to be critical or harsh about anyone. So far I've seen beauty in every single person here and I think it's important to mention that in any kind of reading. I know that I only scratch the surface when I tell people how I perceive them, and so none of my readings can be called absolute. There's much more to anyone here than a picture and a forum presence. I know I connect to some (Muirrin, Pearl and you) more than to others on the board. But I never intended for this thread to be anything other than a fun thing to do... so maybe we should stop taking it all so seriously. Nothing's an absolute truth in life anymore. Apart from the fact we're all here stuck on Earth with lots of weird thingies happening around us, of course. That's truth.

Awakened,
I could see you as a mermaid...I also think you are very playful & like to play practical jokes, but some people could view them as mean...even though you are not mean, but I do get the distinct impression that if someone crosses you, they will definitely find out exactly how you feel about it....Yes, very beautiful wise eyes.....it is almost as if one could see to infinity in them....
I also agree with Brendan--I come here as a break from all the negativeness in the world....I don't like to think of my brothers & sisters not being at peace here......love each other....

Now with better photo than the one I had a couple of years ago, anyone able is welcome to do another photo reading for me: Lightsparkler, you've got a very strong presence, I'm still trying to figure out what I sensed when I first saw your picture. You're very reserved round most people. You say what you want to say with few words and some people might find you a bit abrupt. I'm not sure whether you're critical of people or if you're simply shy about giving compliments, but either trait will have a similar effect on your relationships with others.
