Are we meeting any specific place this weekend or just focusing on each other again?

I think we should repeat our attempt at the pyramids. . ..

I agree with my Pearlsister. I have found a good focus for us. One of the witches I'm in touch with (who runs an entire forum about mythology!) told me that this was an Egyptian sort of concentration tool. Before you meditate, sit upright on a chair with your hands on your thighs. Then, don't try to clear your mind. Just allow your breathing to become relaxed and then visualise an Ankh in your mind, heart and soul. The Ankh is so ancient and so universal that it will allow you to get in touch with Egypt directly. "Beyond reason is the Spirit in man, and beyond this is the Spirit of the Universe, the evolver of all."Keep loving, and all shall work out.

Ok, yes I would like to try the Pyramids as well. I may remember something and stay there consciously longer this as I will not be as drained.

Muiri, darling sister of mine, I shall pull you in with me anyways. I will try to show you a picture in your mind... so hopefully you'll feel connected anyway.

All,
I don't think I will be able to attend consciously--maybe not even unconsciously as I was placed on medication for insomnia & depression this week. I will try to will myself!!!
Have a great time!
Love & light!!!

You have willed yourself into our arms, Jonna. You might not have felt it... but I knew you were there. I knew that everyone was with us once again. Before I went to sleep I decided to have some fun with the oracle cards. The Goddess cards were amazing because they showed me exactly what we would get out of this med: Shelter, Perseverance, Knowledge, Essence and Resolve. Especially Knowledge struck me because it is portrayed by the Egyptian Goddess Seshat. I actually only wanted to do the reading with the Goddesses, but then I spotted another oracle on my desk and I just grabbed it. I shuffled the cards, closed my eyes and then the words I have uttered so many times flooded right back to me: When the five senses and the mind are still (drawing the card of Reverance while visualising the pyramids)... and reason itself rests in silence (drawing the card of Lifeforce while visualising the chamber in the Great Pyramid)... then begins the Path supreme (drawing the card of Machu Picchu while visualising the pathway into the chamber). Between Reverance and Lifeforce I drew another card, for I was thinking about the things I told my Pearlsister about yesterday, and this was Self-confidence! What struck me most, however, was the last card I drew. I had only wanted to draw the previous four as a means of getting into the pyramid. But then, I felt someone embrace me (@ Pearlsister again: yes, this person ;D) and I pulled one other card out. During the pull I clearly stated "and the Law of Karma works no more"... and when I opened my eyes again I saw the card of Eternity in my hands. I don't remember much of the exact meditation. I know I was in a chamber different from the pyramids, lying on a bed at night and seeing the constellations... and sitting upright under the watchful gaze of the sun in the day. I know that there were others with me, including you all, when I finally made the walk down into the chamber itself. I remember that the thing I had stated during the Eternity card pull came back a few times during the med itself. The Law of Karma works no more when you find your Path. That is what was said to me when I asked for knowledge... and this I pass on to you today. Maybe it makes no sense at all, but for me it was no coincidence by any means.

You know, that really is amazing. ;D If you can't come to Egypt, Egypt will come to you. The Law of Karma's actually over for me. It still works in this life, of course, but the karma from past lives is just made finite. I feel relieved, pure and powerful.

Maybe try putting something relating to what you're doing in the same room as you while you try? Cos this arvo I was in an Ancient Egyptian exhibition at the museum here in Brisbane (and went into the shop juuuust as you guys would've started) and it felt so darn amazing. From now on I think I'll put an image of where we're going up on my computer screen, at the very least... see if it does anything.

I felt you, Jen. I've got a statue of Bastet in my room so I am reminded of Egypt whenever I look over to my altar. Because she's in her cat form I feel that she acts like a spiritual guide for me. The reason why Egypt means so much to me is because I have led at least one life there, if my memories are anything to judge by.

At some point we should try to have a meditation at somewhere like Choco Canyon or Machu Pachu or somewhere in the Americas. I'm not sure when, but I think it would cool to do a couple of meditations there.

argh...I totally forgot about it! ...but I think I got pulled into it, as always...while I don't remember it, I still had vivid dreams, as I always do after I meditate. The Law of Karma works no more when you find your Path. That is what was said to me when I asked for knowledge... and this I pass on to you today. Maybe it makes no sense at all, but for me it was no coincidence by any means. personally, I don't believe in Karma at all. I still try to do the best I can for those around me, but not out of fear that if I don't, something will come back and bite my butt. I do it, because I enjoy making those around me happy. I haven't seen Karma in this life at all. What I have seen/experienced is love, mercy, forgiveness, and learning. To me, that is all I need. What I have seen of Karma is bitterness and frustration...people wondering, "when will so-and-so get what they deserve?" but who's to say that they aren't already getting what they deserve? who's to say that we won't get what we deserve? and...does it even matter? the way I see it...all that matters is that we learn from this experience, not that we get what we deserve. Love, mercy, forgiveness, learning. No karma.

I mostly agree with you, Shae, but I still feel karma in the way of cause and consequence. That is the only karma in existence, which doesn't mean that you should let your life be ruled by it.

Yes, the Law of Karma is just the law of cuase and effect. Now, you shouldn't do something just because you fear it will bite you some day later though.

No way. I do things because they feel right, and because I don't know or feel comfortable with any other way. That's not to say that I'm perfect, but I do try ^-^
