What I mean to ask, is what is the opposite of knowledge... ...That is something that for me I find difficult to answer, such as a surprise.

Knowledge is the information that life's experiences help us turn into wisdom. If I had to pick an opposite to knowledge I would probably say "a closed mind"
A thought: knowledge and the act of knowing can be very different things

My first thought to your question Jacques was ignorance, but than I asked myself if ignorance was really the opposite of knowledge. Not sure yet.
Pearl,
Interesting thought, I'll have to think about that.

.. I'd figure that to have knowledge is to know. The opposite of knowing is not knowing.. seems fairly simple that's how it comes to me.. knowledge in itself isn't very important. whether facts and figures and maths and science are correct or not doesn't really matter.. all that matters is what you believe you know. (ie, me, i believe my name is James, my age, my experience, thoughts feelings bla bla blaaa.)

INCORRIGIBILITY!
Thats what I was trying to think of. There is a certain incorrigibility to our thoughts and beliefs. They are completely personal and cannot be wrong to us.

Knowledge is the information we receive in life, wisdom is what we do with this knowledge. The opposite of knowledge is ignorance, the opposite of wisdom is a refusal to learn.

.. I'd say the opposite of ignorance is the desire to understand, or ability, myself.. but to each their own views

Yes, I was struggling to find another word than ignorance... it doesn't seem to cover the whole picture well.

yeah, ignorance doesn't seem to cover the whole picture. It's almost as if it's sort of the opposite of knowledge, but not really it's opposite.
