I like the way its been done. When I see stuff on some of our news programmes it's very biased and saying "this is wrong" .. Haven't watched CNN before ^_^ So its new to me. But yeah I like that. What was that way of photographing? It's not like its just that one camera I don't think is it? Sure I've heard of it before.

Arya, I typed this up for you. In the interviews, I always mention the person that speaks first, first.
-----
(Narrator) Through the lens of her computer's camera, 17-yr-old Sandie Bershad communicates with friends across the world. But from her bedroom on the Jersey shore, Sandie says she is wired into another universe: a sort of supernatural superhighway. (Interview-Narrator and Sandie) -Your dead grandmother visited you last night. -uh-huh. -In your bedroom? -uh-huh. -And what did she say to you? -Just to say hello, that she loves me, that kind of thing. She usually just comes to visit. Her energy is very...like nice, like, healing. (Narrator) Sandie, who spends a lot of her time on the beach, believes that guiding spirits surround her. (Interview) -So,right now you see angels. -Yes. -And where are they? -They're, um, over here. -Over here? -Yeah. -Like near my shoulder? -Yeah. (Narrator) It may sound like Science Fiction, but a growing network of believers say these types of visions are fact. Teens like Sandie claim they're part of a special generation born after 1978, known as Indigo Children for the deep blue auras that psychics say they see around them. Indigo Children have high IQs and tend to be rebellious and oversensitive. They're often also said to share special gifts: hightened intuition and psychic abilities. (Clip: Indigo movie) (Narrator) In recent years, the Indigo phenomenon has made its way into movies, books, websites, even into the therapist's office. (Julie Rosenshein) They will say, 'I've heard that you deal with Indigo Children, or children that are highly sensitive. Can you help me with my child?' (Narrator) Psychotherapist Julie Rosenshein says parents seek her help with kids they believe are Indigos--many of whom have trouble socializing or paying attention in school. (Interview - Julie and Narrator) -Usually I'll get an email that will say, 'My child is having meltdowns, she can't sleep at night, she says that she sees things in her room, can you help me?' -And what do you say? -I usually say, 'Wow, you're seeing something at night? Do you know that sometimes angels visit at night?' And their eyes will sometimes cloud up, with tears even maybe, because that's the first time that anybody really affirmed for them that what they saw was not crazy, did not make them crazy. (Narrator) Sandie's parents Tom and Marjorie Bershad say from an early age their daughter was highly intuitive and overly sensitive, and has never liked to be touched. (Interview - Narrator and Tom) -Do you believe that she sees dead people and angels? -I believe that she sees something. What it is I don't know, but I believe that she's definately seeing something. (Interview - Narrator and Sandie) -Are there ever times, Sandie, where you wish that you were just like the more typical kids and didn't have any of these kinds of visions or spirits or anything like that? -No, life wouldn't be interesting then. (Narrator) Sandie says she is less depressed and doing better in school since discovering her Indigo roots, but skeptics warn that being Indigo may really mean just having a colorful imagination or Attention Deficit Disorder. (Dr. David Stein) You take highly misbehaving children and- who are very, very bright, many of them are, and call them as Indigo Children, and I think it's a stab at trying to apply a more positive label to these children rather than the more pejorative terms like ADHD or Oppositional Defiant Disorder. (Interview - Narrator and Majorie) -Majorie, when a doctor says, 'there's no such thing as Indigo Children, it's just a label that parents are putting on kids that have ADD or some other condition... -I disagree. In my heart of hearts I disagree. I've seen too many things. (Narrator) Dr. Trent Nichols is a Gastro-Enterologist in Pennsylvania who treats children for extreme food sensitivities. He believes that up to 3% of those he sees are Indigo kids. (Dr. Trent Nichols) I think we are seeing children that really seem to be, um, way advanced for their years or sensitive to certain things or sensitive about other things in their environment. And I see this in some of my patients, and I don't think we saw it before, I don't remember it 30 years ago doing that, because I've been a physician since '69- -So you think something's going on here. -Yeah, I think something, but it's hard to say what. -So the claims of people that these could be a special group 'Indigo Children' can't be rejected out of hand. -Right. (Narrator) Psychics claim that Indigo Children have indigo-colored energy fields or auras around them. We asked a woman who claimed she could take pictures of your aura to come to the Bershad's home, and snap some pictures of Sandie and me with her so-called 'aura camera.' In my photograph, there was a little indigo color, but in Sandie's, indigo dominated the picture. So, are Indigos really the next step in human evolution as many believers suggest? If you have any doubts, Sandie says, just ask her angels. (Sandie) They want the world, and we want the world to know that we are here, and we are here to help, and that they want everyone to become more aware of Indigos, to get used to it.
-----
Yeah, they did a good job of not adding their own opinions to it, it's very unbiased...just kind of questioning.
And note, there is a difference between Aura photography and Kirlian photography...Aura photography is when people basically add in their interpretation of what your aura would be...Kirlian takes pictures of your actual aura.

lol Rad you're funny ^_^ I'm kinda glad you didn't...gave me something to do this morning...and it's giving way for something I've been putting off for a very long time...since my parents saw me watching the CNN thing, they've been asking me about it...I've needed to tell them about Indigos for a long time, I've just been scared that they'd think it's crap and throw me in an insane asylum, heh.
hehe it's ok Arya...you wouldn't need to give me anything anyway...don't worry about it. I know, I have a crazy end of the semester coming up too...and holiday...and another holiday...and...massive insanity. lol!

From CNE:
INDIGO DOCUMENTARY TO BE FEATURED ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA
The mainstream media has suddenly, miraculously, taken a great interest in the Indigo Children phenomenon. Earlier this week CNN broadcast a well balanced report on the subject, and now Diane Sawyer from Good Morning America is about to follow suit with an in-depth story to be broadcast Monday morning. Several children who are featured in the new documentary "THE INDIGO EVOLUTION" will be in New York for the interview, two of whom had featured roles in the original INDIGO movie. An excerpt from the documentary will be featured during the interview. Please pass the word and if you live in the US, we hope you are able to enjoy the program.

I like this thing. It doesn't form any coherent judgement, as so many other articles/interviews/etc. do, but it gives just plain unbiased information. That's become pretty much a rarity in itself so I'm happy with this. I once had a picture of my aura taken... I think it was with a Kirlian camera, though I'm not entirely sure... judging by that picture, I'd say that I'm a crystal with a tiny hint of indigo. I'm glad that I learn more every day about this.

Hehe.. I don't think doing one of these photography things would convince me otherwise (or enforce it anymore than possible) that I'm a blue/violet crossover .. Would be fun to do though anyway

You know, I had an aura picture taken too, the sad thing about Kirlian Photography is that it only catches the outter colors of the aura rather than the very base vibrations, and since Crystal is clear and tends to reflect the auras it's around, my picture came out a very deep red because that's was my boyfriend's aura at the time and he had driven me to the place to get the photo. We had got into a fight on the way there, so that probably added to the deep colors. I asked the lady a lot of searching questions too when she was explaining the picture to me, and the overall impression I got was that she was mostly just reciting lines she's memorized and didn't really know what she was talking about. I think aura technology has a long way to go before it can be completely reliable.

abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=1332961The link for the GMA one is there... I'm gonna need like a day to type that one up for you, Arya, unless Rad gets to it first. EDIT: ok...it's going to be a few days...sorry, I've just been drained... My thoughts on it...I really don't like this one. It seems to be more about the mother than the children. The children may be Indigo...but that seemed to be beside the point...I got the feeling the mother was getting caught up in being in front of the camera and getting her side of the story out there...I don't think it had to do with the kids at all. Furthermore...all the hype of GMA said, "could these kids be psychic?" Sure, some indigos are psychic...sure, some psychics are Indigo...but I don't really see that as having anything to do with it. And something I disagree with about the Indigo phenomena in general...is the whole "deep wise eyes" thing. ...A lot of Indigos I've seen do have similar eyes...CM, you're one of those. But, I've seen a share of Indigo eyes that aren't like that. Now, maybe there is a reason--maybe those *born* Indigo get the eyes, and those that are born a lower-vibrational color and transition don't...I dunno, I hadn't tested that theory. But...the eyes seem to be a side-note to me too. What matters is not the eyes, is not the psychic abilities, is not the years we were born, is not the ADD. It's the message!!!!
