As we step out together the Moon is new, offering her children new beginnings. The Sphinx will gaurd and guide the dawn. In our journey let us travel through that mystic dawn of all that was and is and will be. Let us seek unity with all we are. The Sphinx - Gaurdian of the Bright Horizon North America

He asked the students this question: "Art thou, dwellers of the outer darkness where ignorance dwelleth, praying admittance into our sacred Temple to seek the Light of Initiation?" The candidates nodded affirmatively responding: "Yes, we are".

I am One and I am Many. I am the Divine and the Ordinary. I am the Light who brings Shadow, And I am the Dark who brings Sun. Re the Summer I have served long ago, Isis was my Mother in Birth and Death. The pyramids were my Stairways to Heaven, And the Sphinx was the Temple I served.
Who will lead the Way now the Old Ones have gone? "I will answer", replies the Star Carrier of Avalon. "When all has passed beyond Knowledge or Recall, I will be the One to guide the New Earth in Love and Song."
Who will carry the Star to her Homeland of Heart? "I will answer", replies the Protector of the Standing Stones. "When all has passed beyond Healing or Wisdom, I will be the One to lift the Star to the Sky where She does belong."
Blue gowns for the Stars of the Summerland, Silver sparkles for the Ancient Brow of the Blessed. Black fur to speak the Secret of the Runes once Told, White markings to tell the Existence of the Void. They will Guide you to Others who roam the Halls. They will go First and Last in the Spiralling Circle. Children who Seek but cannot Use will find their Power, And all will be Reborn when the Will finds the Way.
Thus speak the Listener and the Willow in Dreams and Awake. Thus speaks the Source who made my Mind tremble in anticipation of the Feast of the May.
Light the fires now, hear upon me, join the Dawn I have served since I was born from Lemurya into Atylantos.
Seek. Use. Expand. Love. Eat. Drink. Serve. Sing. Dance.
And Find. Sisters. Brothers. Lovers. Friends. Family.
Hearts of my Home.
My allegiance lies in the Hands of the Divine once more.

Being speechless is good... for this means that the vibrations work with your soul instead of with your mouth! ;D

my old friends
Do you remember who we were and what we did in that land of gold?
Carry bagpacks of light, the children kayaking on top of our crown; blessed seekers seeking
We believe, and a higher knowledge has been given.
I feel so connected.

I'm not having any expectations since when I do, I'm always disappointed.
This is still giving me "feelings", though.

Yes, I remember. Gods... I remember all. White robes, crown of snake and bird, stargazing, building, leading... but also the suffering, horror, pain, darkness and misery we had to face at times. I am one of Bastet's children. She was the daughter of Isis and Osiris and the Cat Goddess of Peace who sometimes could obscure the Sun. When you see a little black and white kitten in your meditation you have seen me.

I had a freaky dream last night..
I can only remember the general kind of feeling [Which was primarily "Whoa, where the hell am I?" And I was looking for something I think]
I wrote down three words when I woke up before literally collapsing back into sleep. Words I wrote are: "Sphinx" "Door" and the last one, which I can't really make out.. so I'll write what it most looks like "Suakuzz" Which was probably me trying to write something, fighting sleep and dragging the pen.

@ Jen: Could be possible, yeah... it is different for all of us! @ Rad: Wow, interesting! ;D I do know that the Sphinx is some sort of door... but the last word sounds so interesting... I hope we will uncover its meaning soon.

sweet!
when the suggestions were going around on the other thread, I thought the sphinx would be best too...but I didn't really have the time to voice that input at the time.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to participate well, tomorrow night is a choir concert, and after I get up on stage I always have a huge rush of ENERGY, like I could run a marathon or something. after my last recital that I sang for, I ended up dancing silently backstage for like, half an hour, until all the other musicians were done as well...lol. so, I'm not sure how well a meditation will work with that much physical energy, we'll find out...but I usually get pulled in to the medition one way or another no matter what I'm doing. I'm sick as well, I don't know how that'll affect things either.
we'll see.

The rush of energy is something which can be adapted into meditation very quickly and easily. Especially physical energy, such as dance, is quite good when it comes to pushing you deeper into a state of your utter and complete consciousness. Same goes for singing... Art is my ultimate way of meditation.

Ow no... I may not be able to fully concentrate on joining in, depending on what time my friend leaves. The last times she came, she's always left around the end of the med, but it's never been on a Sunday.
I'll try, nonetheless. Even I'm feeling how important this is...
