Has anyone ever answered a simple question with an extremely complicated and long answer? ^____^; I just wanted to know if I'm the only person who finds questions - about anything - really helpful in understanding knowledge. Sometimes when I answer a question I'll answer with stuff I didn't realize I knew in the first place, as if the question made me access a part of me I never before explored. Yesterday, on devientART someone asked what higher-vibrational people were... I think I scared them with my answer:
Energy is, like light when it enters our eyes, converted into colours that our brains can understand and process in order to grasp a specific vibration's data (how it affects the body, the mind, etc...). There are lower vibrations like red, orange, green, and tan (then a transitionary colour of magenta), intermediatary colours like green-tan, yellow-tan, brown-tan, and yellow (transitionary colour called lavender) then higher vibrations like blue, violet, indigo, and crystal. These colours (often combinations of many) create our personality which is reflected as colours in the "aura" (or energy field) of a human being. The aura is attached to the brain/mind which is the connection between low energies like atoms, quarks, etc (they appear as particles that make up everything, for example: our bodies). The mind, which is non-physical is part of the brain which is physical... thus the soul or aura/energy field can become part of a complete body by attaching to the non-physical mind. Since the lower vibrations are closest to the atoms and other physical-vibrations, lower-vibrational people tend to be sceptical, physically powerful, thrill-seekers, and/or money makers (to mention only the most general of characteristics). Higher-vibrational people are much closer to high vibrations like emotional energies (evident in Blue's sensitivity) and data-based energies (thoughts create emotions, as does all kinds of knowledge... Indigos pick up on these energy quite easily). For this reason, indigo and crystal children/adults are highly aware and use the "higher-vibrational" parts of the mind that lower-vibrational people don't have immediate access to (not that they can't use those parts, they just don't notice). They are often labelled as psychics, genius, system-busters (think Albert Einstien or a few of the philosophers of ancient Greece).
Long, eh? I didn't even realize how long it was until I read it again... I would have continued on to how physical energy is affected by non-physical energy, but it was too crazy already!

Laurel,
Half the time I answer questions with what comes to me, at that moment and people will see it as a really well thought out answer. I also, tend to answer "simple" questions with complex answers. I tend to give the PhD answer.

Yeah, I tend to scare people when I start rambling. They could walk away and I'd keep talking!

I've noticed that I can give long complex answers and I can keep talking for hours if not days and weeks. I realized most people I communicate to just want the short answer and are baffled by the long, like they're shocked and don't know what to do with all the information that I give them. I now sometimes answer people by saying "I don't know" when in fact I do know but cannot give a short answer because they will not understand everything behind it and interpret into something that it is not.

hehehe, it seems a lot of us have this in common! With me, when I try to start a conversation about something that I'm passionate about, I'll ramble on and on making SURE not to leave out the smallest detail. After about 2 minutes my listeners get that look on their face that I'm sure you're all familiar with. That...."uhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm" face. You know! (There wasn't a good enough smiley, so "uhhhhhmmmm" is the best I can do!)

I know the face all too well...
It looks as if they may start to drool sometimes as if they were overloaded and their saliva is their only reply.

Like Uriah said, "I don't know" is a very frequently used phrase. That's if I can't avoid not talking.

I'll usually do the long answer thing online...it's easy to type and get out all my thoughts on an issue...I was emotionally abused as a child, and I still have an inner fear of being ridiculed...so in person I'll often use the "I don't know," just out of instinct. But yeah, I have surprised myself before with my long answers.

I am continually in shock at the things that come out of my mouth. GRIN It's like "where'd that come from?" I love re-reading my old e-mails to friends and family because I often forget or lose touch with this wisdom and it is good to remember. I think I more often connect to "higher sources" of information when talking with or trying to help others because the desire to be of service is there. This is part of why my connections with others are so valuable to me. They teach me so many things I might never learn otherwise!

P.S. I'm so excited to be connecting with all of you! Just imagine the things you'll teach me!

I have learned to supress my answers, though the thoughts go spinning through my head like a tornado. I usually have to supress it, I am surrounded by morons at school and but into retard classes because the teachers tend to dislike me. (I tend to whine ALOT when the teacher teaches the wrong way.)

"... my listeners get that look on their face that I'm sure you're all familiar with. That...."uhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm" face. You know!" I know! Actually, it's not only with "deep and meaningful" things, but also with music (I tend to listen to things that they don't hear on the radio/see on TV) and languages (I was the only Japanese student my grade for the last two years of high school - go figure). Luckily, I've finally learned that anything that requires thinking is not welcome discussion, and that although my girlfriends like me, I'd be more accepted if I were more like them. Only thing is, sometimes restraint is impossible and so I still get that look on occasion. The thing is, though, I'm usually a really quiet person (I believe in only saying something when it needs to be said, unlike most of my family). It's only when I feel comfortable in a situation and when discussing things I'm passionate about that I get all "fired up" - what an expression to use for a waterchild! - and start babbling. Like now. Although before I shut up, I must say, phantomx, that I admire your strength in being able to whine in front of all those people... I'm usually reduced to complaining where there's no way I can be overheard

... and I met someone else like it on Thursday night as well. Funnily enough, we sat outside that party and talked almost constantly for something like 3 and a half hours. Then we talked again at another open-college party the next time, and ran into each other on the way to lunch yesterday and.... talked. I think I like this guy! My sig means "I am a silhouette of the person wandering in my dreams." It's a line from The Phantom Agony by a relatively unknown Dutch band called Epica and I'm a big fan of quite a few of their lyrics. I'm not that good at Japanese (yet) but since I ordered the album from Japan the translations came with it, so I stole it from the leaflet ^-^

Haha, I felt a tingle before you left for college which meant that this guy would pop into your life. ^-^ Don't know why I felt it so clearly but from what you've told me I like him too. Hm, I tend to scare people with my enthusiastic rambles too. Especially if I ramble about the energies I feel and about my emotions... *rolls eyes* It's quite remarkable because I seem to make a whole lot of humoristic comments alongside of that and I don't even notice it until someone points it out to me. For my birthday Muirrin made quite a big textfile with all sorts of crazy comments I'd made in conversations with her in it... I still love it to bits even though I tend to go like "when did I say that?"...

I try to keep silent about those.... no point inviting those weird looks, especially when my friends already don't take my taste in music seriously (and sometimes clothes). Besides, I'm meeting so many new people and I'd like them to know that I'm really a nice person before I start mentioning metal and anime and other "mystical/insane" stuff ^-^ I'm glad you liked the present... I wanted to go through all the forums as well but didn't have time
