Hey everyone,
I'm very interested in communicating with animals. I have read some books about it, but haven't really been able to do it. I was wondering if some of you might have some experience with it and if you could give me some tips.

Hello,
The best way to talk to them is to be gentle, forthcoming, and when you speak to them, speak to the higher parts of their minds. If you are physical with them, be physical to the higher parts of their awareness. Focus your attention to the top of their heads. All their good info. is kept there.

Just sit down with them on their own level... look into their eyes... and just silently tell them who you are and why you want to get in touch with them. That's the first step and always a good key feature in whatever contact you have with other living beings.

I agree, they totally sense all of our actions, not just in the moment. I imagine it is done at a cellular level. They sense us because part of our true nature is encoded in the way we smell and the colours we emit.

Communicating with animals is so easy that some people don't understand it or try to make it hard for themselves. It's much easier than communicating with human beings. You are already communicating in ways animals can understand without even realising it. I suppose it's easier if you've grown up around animals your whole childhood.

yes, from the moment I arrive at home I'm almost continually communicating with various animals - and often when I'm not at home too.

it's mostly actions, and it's different for each animal but there's a certain common-sense to it all. For instance, there's a certain window my dog will stand beside when she wants to go outside, and when I see her there I know she wants to go outside even though it's not actually the door she's looking at. Telepathy is valuable too but animals don't often interpret it the same way as a human with that gift would.

So basically you're saying it's possible to communicate just by spending enough time around the animals to pick up patterns in behaviour? Almost sounds do-able, for me! ;D

Well, anyone with an animal long enough, I would think would pick up various actions that mean certain things.

that's it! though it's not just picking up patterns there is a basic instinct that allows the patterns to make sense but communicating with animals isn't so much about having a specific means of communicating with them so much as knowing the animal and being known by them. Some of this knowledge can be generalised to other animals and some can't. For example, I'd always assumed that if I sat on the ground and held my fingers in a certain way (thumb curled up, first, third and fourth fingers pointing directly down, second finger pointing to the ground about a foot away) it would only cause my own animals to come running, but it turns out it has the same effect on most cats and dogs even if their owner never uses this gesture. However, if another dog visits the house, if it wants outside it won't communicate this in the same way as my dog and I'll have to use other clues to figure out what it wants.
Another tip if anyone wants to try the summoning gesture, if it's an animal that knows you well it helps to look at it, but otherwise it helps to look away. Also, it's more likely to work if only one hand is doing this and it's stretched out towards the animal and about the same height from the ground as the animal's nose.
