I searched for a topic which contains ALL the abilities we may have, but found only about clairvoyance and clairaudience, so I begin this thread here... if it already exist and I didn't see it, then forgive me...
I think that our abilities - which are called paranormalities by some people - are the part of our nature. I have some ability, just like sensing ghosts, clairvoyance, reading thoughts, and anticipation. But these were always the part of my life and I believe in it, that long ago all the people had these abilities but they are long ago forgotten. "Civilized" and "enlightened" people didn't believe in silly occult things. Witches were burned and hanged, because they used these abilities.
I also have the gift of healing but I cannot heal bodies, only souls... but as long as we are living on Earth, body and soul belongs together... so if I heal one then the other is healing too.
I love animals. Never ever was I attacked by unknown dog. And I have a special relationship with horses.
Some people told me that I must be superior in an animal's company but I cannot to this. I love them, so I caress them, they are my friends. And it is normal for me. I am not their boss.
Even the houses do have personality. There is a contact between the house and its owners. When the owner is ill and dying slowly, the waves of their illness and bad thoughts is swallowed by the walls. When the owner is happy, the waves of their happiness is swallowed by the walls. The walls have memory. Sometimes, in old castles, when people were tortured and dying, the walls still remember and they create "ghosts" They are operating like filming cameras and time by time they show their odd films again and again.
(Sometimes ghosts are only made of memories of a house, sometimes they are more. There are different races of ghosts.)
They aren't dangerous for the body but they can be dangerous for the mind. When the memory of the walls - of the house - is alive, then you can feel it. The waves, once swallowed by them, are coming back and working on the mind of the new owners, or visitors.
I can feel these "waves" Other people just say that the house feels somehow "uncomfortable"
Which abilities do you have?

It depends on the intensity of the emotions, but I also feel houses too. For instance, my boyfriend's parents fight a lot, and whenever I'm in their house there's a shadow of discontent in the air and mean words. I went on a tour once though of an old jailhouse and some of the negativity in there that still clung to the walls made me disgusted and heavy feeling.
I love animals too, but for me the special bond is with dogs. I just love them, and I'm not going to say I can "Read their thoughts" but there is communication between me and all animals where I can sense shades of what they're thinking and feelings. I honestly think that the more we love something, the more aware we become of it and the more closely joined we are.
Also, nature - all trees, bugs, grass, rocks, everything in nature hums to each other and is very close knit. Everything in nature is bonded together by a silent force of love and patience - when I'm walking through the woods sometimes I'll just go over and hug a tree to feel the vibrations massage my heart chakra. Trees are such wonderful devas, they really should be respected more.
I can sense other energies around me. When a spirit/spirit guide/angel/any alien energy signature is near me, I can feel it on the inside. This used to cause me random bouts of fear, especially when I was alone in the house and I'd give my right leg away I was so sure there was someone in the house with me - I'm sure you can understand how that must be frightening when you have no idea what you're feeling! Lol. It was actually only a month ago it finally dawned on me that the weird sensation I'd get sometimes that someone else was in the room with me was actually just me sensing the presence of my spirit guides or mother. ^^
I'm a healer too! Go us. ^^ I've actually managed to heal someone's body... not in the "big red cut disappears" way but I took away one of my boyfriend's bruises and released pain he was experiencing. He's the only person I have to practice on, but I've also cured myself of colds and things.
The more spiritually aware we become, the more psychic we become, it goes hand in hand. There's no such this as a spiritual person not having psychic abilities, it's just that often psychic abilities are mistaken for everyday coincidences and feelings. My spirituality bloomed when I was twelve and I became so use to feeling others around me, sensing shades of emotions and energies, that I never thought I was "psychic" at all until recently. =)

You are so true! I love to hug the trees! And sometimes I heal them. When I hug an old, broken tree, I give some of my energy to the ill tree, and it responds me with a warm wave of energy. I feel it. Though trees doesn't have nerves (lucky things :-) ), they can feel, they can remember... oh I would give anything to listen to the tales of a thousand years old tree! Love is a special thing - the more you give, the more you get. It's like the light in mirrors. Same with me But it was so natural for me. I had also invisible friends, they helped me, and when I was alone they were by my side. Yeah, it can be frightening when you don't know what you're feeling, that's true... so if I am afraid, I am singing. It always helps. The song takes the fear away, and it is like a ray of light.

I had an interesting experience today. I was working at a computer in the campus library and had printed something. I was reading this forum and was about to reply to a post (I can't remember which right now). Before I hit the "post reply" botton, I went to go get what I had printed. I came back to finish replying, and to un-pause the CD I was listening to when the computer was longing me off! Now, I know I didn't hit the log off botton, and I didn't hit ctrl/alt/delete which wouldn't have re-started the computer anyway. I also didn't hit the power botton by mistake. When someone logs off of a campus computer, it will go to a press ctrl/alt/delete to log in screen. Well, I was at the computer long enough to see it completely log me off, however, it went to an almost black "power save" screen this time. So, I guess either somehow the computer shut itself down or I somehow shut it down without 1: consciously intenting to 2: without actually logging myself off or hitting the power botton :0.

Maybe you were nervous and you broke the circuits of the computer with your energy... Sounds interesting! Have you ever done something like this with lamps, or other electric things?

Gemma,
Outdoor lamp lights have gone either out or back on when I walk by or under them on campus. Hasn't happened lately, but then again, I haven't been on campus at night all summer (no need to).
Nope, wasn't nervous. Obviously, my work on that computer was done, as I'd orginally just wanted to print the article I printed. Perhaps, when I went to get the article, I somehow sent a signal (unaware of doing this) to the computer saying I was done, so it shut down? Could this be part of the meditation experiences I've had the last couple of days? Who knows.

What a helpful computer ;D It happened me once, I was listening to a tape and there was a song I truly hate. I wanted to turn it off, but before I reached toward the tape it turned itself off. There wasn't any fold on the band. I think it felt my anger somehow, because I was really angry when I heard the song.

Gemma,
Wow, what an interesting story! Thanks for sharing. It's amazing that a supposedly "inanimate" or what most people might see as an inanimate object can sense and take in someone's energy.

Yeah, Kiva, these "inanimate" objects can sense it somehow, or... perhaps my anger was like an ectoplasm-hand, and this hand reached out to turn it off. We do have our Auras and it is bigger than us... maybe we can materialize our energies?

Kiva This is where crystal healing comes from. The idea that everythings holds it's own particular vibration and energy. Everything in your life that you come in contact with, leaves a small "imprint" of it's energy with you, just as you leave an "imprint" of your energy. The stronger the emotional bond between you and a particular item; the stronger the energy exchange will be between you and said item. For example, you share a lot more energy with a stuffed animal you've had since you were 2 as opposed to a pay phone you used the other day. Those who are developed in the skill of clairvoyance can sense these very subtle energies.

Some people says that this bond can be so strong that we leave the imprints of our personality on some of our beloved thingsm and they say that after we pass away, our "ghosts" can be seen, for example in our favourite armchair. Probably this is the explaining of some ghost-entities. That's what I spoke about when I wrote that also the walls had memory. As an armchair can have our imprints, so can the walls. Forgive me if there is some misspelling, I am too tired today. Just had my second coffee... It is not good but I am suffering form bad dreams, and my back is hurting.

Indigo Pheonix,
Yes, I agree we do leave imprints on everything and they leave imprints on us. That's why, IMHO, that it can be sometimes hard to let go of things. We have built a "relantionship" so to speak with the object and we value that relantionship.
I have a very wonderful relantionship with a specific Willow tree at the local reserve (the one I talked about in my meditation experiences). We share a lot, and I go to her when I need some clarity and to clear myself.

I don't have such a tree.... Maybe I should befriend with one?
And I cannot meditate, I don't know, how to meditate. My body is so weak.

Gemma, your body may be weak but it sounds to me that your will is not. There are many different techniques on how to meditate. A simple search in google could bring you vast amounts of info on the subject. It can really ground you, clear your mind, and rejuvenate your body.

Well, there are things in all objects, man made or no, called "devas." These are very simplistic forms of consciousness that sense and react to vibrations and intentions, but they don't act on their own. If you will it to a computer "Turn yourself off" it won't be able to do it, but if you say "Let's work together and turn you off" then that will happen. Kiva, it sounds like this is what happened to you when your computer started to log you off.
When I stand near my television or radio, I can "make" it tune in or out of the station it's on. It depends on my position and my mood. Every single cell in our body has a deva and that's why when we tell ourselves "Wow, I'm feeling REALLY sick right now!" even if we dont' feel sick, if we keep concentrating on it we can make ourselves feel sick. That's the devas responding. Intention and thought have so much affect on this world that it amazes me sometimes how people can't notice it. If we concentrate on something happening to us during the day, such as if I wake up and think "Oh no, today I'm going to get into a fight with my dad!" if I keep thinking that then sooner or later that day we will get into a fight. Or if I concentrate on "Today I'm going to miss the bus!" then I'll miss it. I think this is where the term "Don't jinx it!" comes from, even if the concept of a jinx is a bit backwards from what is actually happening.
Gemma - I can see that you're a very strong person inside, I always get the feeling of "unbreakable" when I read your posts. I think if you were to let go of what you've been preconditioned to think and leap into the world afresh and build it up based on what you want the world to be, you'd find yourself gathering a lot of followers. The more powerfully we [allow ourselves to] shine, the more we draw other beings of light to us. I've found that since I let go of all my old reservations and embrace my love of God completely, I've been meeting all sorts of people everywhere who are likeminded and in need of me in some way. Serve a purpose, and it will serve you. ^_^

Uriah's right...perhaps try learningmeditation.com? it's a start...and then allow your mind to expand from there. ...just remember...the site's not the end-all be-all. start from there...and let your mind expand. let it wander off after it's over. it doesn't have to be over just because the music stops and you're not being guided anymore. ...if you don't know much about the chakras yet, I suggest you start with the chakra meditation...it'll teach you about them and get you aquainted with them.

Oh my God, I forgot it! I got a lot of chakra-meditation - exercizes from the girl who photographed my Aura! She knew that I'll suffer! I am an idiot! ;D CM, yes, I am really "unbreakable" (thank you ) and I already started to change the world around me. I don't care about old habits and I don't care that "a girl of 24 should already have a boyfriend!" I know what I want, and I'll have it - with the love I carry inside. Why should I have things which I don't want? As for shining: I met a girl on MSN, her name is Patricia. She is a wonder. Her parents divorced when she was 4 (she is 15 now) her father has another family, and ALL THE PARTS of the family are friends! The father, his two wives (the "old" and the "new") the 3 girls of them... and Patricia has a step-father, and they like each-other. It is truly a wonder. There is love, among the families. And it shines! Patricia has a lot of animals. If someone loves animals, visit her page. It will be worth! pityi.blog.tv2.hu That kind of shining is so rare in this world. Everytime I write to her I feel happy and there is laughter. She knows the magic of happiness. I don't know if she is Indigo. I will ask her. SHE is already shining.

OMG gemma ! I went on the website you gave and there are lots of animals ! She must be a wonderful person ! Sadly enough, I don't understand the Hungarian (I suppose it is this language though), so I couldn't understand what it is said. It seemed interesting! Especially the opacification of the aquarium... She was cleaning the aquarium. Now it is clean and full of fishes. You don't need to understand Hungarian but if you wanna know anything I'll translate it to you. On the last pic you can see two of her animals eating yoghurt, and their heads are white from the yoghurt ;D Have you seen it?

I was chatting with a girl, and I was reading her mind. She was bored, she was tired. I could feel her feelings and I could also feel that she wanted to put some pictures onto a forum but she was getting bored of it. I was right. She was stunned when I told her everything I felt. After it I went to the forum to see if I was right with the pictures. Usually she used to put almost 10-12 pictures there but now there were only 5. I was right when I told her that she was getting bored with the pics

thecrystalmaiden...I hear you with what you say about devas. Inside our body I mean...I have not interacted with devas outside in this country much (england) but in france where I stay in a castle made of stone you can see and hear the castle if you tune in. <advertises for a visit>. If I want to be sick, I can make myself sick...It is like I have good control over myself. Simply it is nice to put a name such as deva to a house that feels alive.
