Did a show tonight at a joint called the Beaumont Studios. It's an artist workshop/studio space with a 40 seat live theatre stage.
Mostly actors and arty types. I had zero energy before the show, and earlier in the day, I had called the almost full moon a bhastard. She knows what I'm talking about.
Went straight to the venue after work and was greeted by Rico, the young, gung-ho sound technician. I went in with the intention of playing really great reggae.
The winters in Canada are... Let's put it this way, they are freakin long. Anything to remind me of sunshine, and I was willing to do it. But, it wasn't that kind of crowd.
So, I gave em the ole Winnipeg hip-check move, and I totally rocked em for a solid 2 hours. A play started, I packed up my gear, and left shortly after.

Hey Everyone,
Miss and love you all!
Did a show tonight at a beautiful church in Kitsilano, Vancouver. It was a fashion show for local designers featuring environmentally sustainable textiles like soy, bamboo, and hemp. WOW!
