I sometimes see the fae, but not with my physical eyes. I just sense them every once in a while. But I don't live very near a free form of nature though, so maybe if I did I would see more...

How do they look like? And how do you sense them? I do tend to listen to my surroundings with my emotions, my mind, and my feelings. Is that how you sense it?

I went to a psychic (she's really cool) who uses tarot, and she said i will see them eventually, and to leave gifts for them. She also said that their favorite treat is bread, milk, and honey, and they like things not of their world (shiny things, like jewelry, etc.)

Well, who are we to think we know...? Beings of energy can assume whatever form, persona, or life they choose.

Sometimes when I'm in the forest I'll pass a place and get tingles all over me or feel like I'm suddenly in the presence of something. Then there are other times I'll just feel a strange... I don't now... sensation when I'm in a specific patch of grass or vines. Is this what you mean by feeling the fae? Cuz if so, I think I know what you mean! =)

I knew someone who claimed to see faeries...but I kinda got the vibe that she was full of it. ...I've heard that you can go somewhere kinda away from civilization...a field, a park (away from people), a forest...and you sit still for a while, don't move...and then just calmly say, "Faeries I know you're here." ...then you can talk to them. They'll communicate with you telepathically. I was told that if you ask a faerie for its name, you'll hear it in your mind...ask it again or "are you sure" to re-affirm it...and not only will it respond to you again, but even if it's a wierd name, you'll hear it again throughout the day so that you can confirm it. I hadn't tried it myself though...we don't have many natural areas around here unoccupied.
kiva, why do you think everyone's making everything up? Do you also think so when people talk about angels? ...That's all faeries are...nature's angels. We don't have as much contact with faeries because we have our own angels.

Shaelyn,
I believe we create our own realities. Theerefor, everyone is making everything up. I didn't mean to say that the things people say exist don't because these things do exist, but that they create it or "make it up". So, to me create = make it up. That does not mean that created or made up things don't exist though.

I saw a fairy about two weeks ago. I woke up pretty early, around 7am, and was the only one in my room. I looked up towards my window sill, and the fairy was there, in the sunlight, and I could distinctly make out the wings and the body. And it was glowing in a brilliant orangey-yellowish light. It was a wonderful sight to wake up to

That does not mean that created or made up things don't exist though. Kiva I totally agree with you Kiva. I think its a very hard sentiment to explain, but it mad sence to me. I to believe that every person is the creator of there own reality, and that thier reality is the truth and"real"world for them. Therefore, when one talks of phenomenoms that have to do with a physical form or human interpretation I think there is no ultimate truth or reality. It is very different and real for every individual. And then as you said "everyone is making it up." I like to believe in the existance of faeries but I think that my understanding of the word is so convuluted that it makes it hard for me to describe them as such. I believe and have senced other dementional beings that appear to flit around , but I wouldn't nessessrily talk about them as having wings and looking like the faeries from picture books.

I know this is going to sound hard to believe... I saw a dragon... once.
My friend and I were walking home one evening, and I can't remember who saw it first, but in the sky was a full-fledged dragon.
The moon was it's eye, and the clouds were it's body. The image didn't stay in the sky for very long, but long enough for us to both stop in our tracks and gawk for as long as it lasted. Our response was, "OMG, are you seeing that?". There was no mistaking the image in the sky. Neither of us had to turn our necks, or strain to see the image. It was right in front of our eyes.
It made me think of the chinese zodiac dragon, which is mythical and seen by very few. I've felt my life to be very charmed to include this into my waking life memories.

Actually I believe that very much Cherise. Infact I had a similar experience once. I recall looking out of my window (Which i do a lot anyway) and seeing a giant head of a dragon.
It was angled down to the left and looking at me with one eye (also the moon through a hole in this dragon head forming cloud)
It almost looked as if it were trying to intimidate me.
Thankyou very much ^^ I'd actually forgotten entirely about that!

I once had a very beautiful garden that I had created from old paddocks, I put my heart and soul into this garden and it made it into the gardens to visit in New Zealand. Often when I was looking at my creation and seeing the beauty not the work, I would see impressions of faeries at least that s what I thought they were. They were more in my minds eye than as a physical representation. I went into gaze mode and could see them flitting all about, especailly from a distance. I found I needed to be in an accepting magical state to see them. Something I will never forget, even to this day nearly ten years later the pictures and feelings are still there like a bright cloud of a memeory

As far as I'm aware, Photoshop isn't available yet even for the most advanced cell phones.

my first reaction to the cell phone picture was "what is that?"
You can't really tell what it is or if there are mountians in the background. However, it was definitely unusual.

And no- I've never physically seen a faerie. I thought I saw one once or twice, and I've seen them in my dreams, but never a clear physical manifestation.

Well, what photoshop is available on is you take a picture of someone holding a cell phone, then you can photoshop a picture ONTO the cell phone screen, it's actually very easy, i use photoshop a lot so i can say that both of those pictures can be easily photoshopped, but then again most pictures we see in the news can be easily photoshopped too, and that's no reason to call these people liars.
I for one believe in dragons, my only question is that if they still exist, why haven't we found them yet? I wish I knew more, I'd love it if these articles were real, so I'm a 80% believer... I'd like to know more about the loch ness monster too....

I have two faery stories for you. The first was back in Vancouver and I was in my favourite crystal shop and the owner was talking to some tourists about the area and he was saying that his people, the aboriginals of the area also believe in the little people. He said that they told his people when Jesus was crucified... He said they were in a park that had been converted from a old open mine quarry, so I went there one night to see if I could connect with them. I didn't see anything but when I made attempts to move away from the bench I was sitting on I could hear a noise behind me but I have to admit that is as far as I got, I was too scared to look! LOL (I must admit to you here that I have an issue with being stolen... I'm working on that one.) The second story is a pretty famous one here in Newfoundland. It tells of a man who goes off in the early fall to go pick berries, he had no jacket and only took a bucket with him. He just disappeared, people thought that something terrible had happened to him, then one day he just reappeared, looking a little worse for wear, slightly dirty and his clothes rather worn. He told of this fantastical tale of how he had been found by the faeries and had been taken in and feed oranges over the winter. He said they loved oranges, now where they got them I don't know b/c they sure don't grow on trees here! LOL
