Not so long time ago, I was at this huge party. When I came home and looked through the pictures I took, I have discovered that there were some tiny orb-shaped creatures that were sort of floating around in air above humans. They appeare only in some pictures. Now, that could be just some sort of lightning effects from the camera. If that is the case, I appologize bringing it here. But they also could be faeries of spirits - because some of them look like they have eyes and even faces. I remember some New Age website mentioning that things like these could be faeries. What do you think? Here are the pictures:

Was it a digital camera or a film camera?

Yes, I'm wondering the same thing, digital or film?

It was my digital one.

Being digital rules out lots of film and processing causes. I'd have to agree with Arya about it being humidity or water dropplets.. besides that it could be what you say?

...if the drops of water were on the lens, wouldn't the spots be in relatively the same spot, or in the later pictures, have streaks down the pictures from where the water all came together and dripped down?
plus the color seems to be wrong for the water droplets on the lens idea...on the second picture, it wouldn't make sense for the drops to be blue when the rest of the picture is red, unless it's reflecting light from that one spot that is kinda green...and I think it's too far away/not strong enough of a source.
I hadn't ruled out being caught by the flash...but I don't think that makes much sense either...I've taken pictures in really humid air, and never had an effect similar to that.

I can assure you - there were no water drops on the lense and the air was dry - there was no moist.

And those orbs only appear on only 10% of the pictures I took that night. The rest of the pictures - taken at the exact same place and time - have no orbs.

Most curious ^^;
There are many phenomena of the world I intend to experience firsthand if ever possible. Call me an empiricist I suppose, I essentially am ^^ I enjoy to experience things first hand, even if the magic is taken away through it.
(I also tend to think of myself as a Recorder, or Librarian of sorts as I store information I find and hide it away ^^)

I actually, had the same thing happen to me with pictures I took at a consentration camp in Austria, and with a picture I took of a grave yard in the Czech Republic. The spots only showed up in those pictures and none of the rest.

I don't really know what those orbs are. But I've seen several website mentioning them as being faeries or small spirits.
As I wrote above - there was no moist in the air, no water on the lens - and those orbs are only showing on 10% or the pictures - the rest of the pictures taken at that party have no orbs on them.

I was in a new age shop back home a little while ago, and all over the walls the owner had pictures with the same types of orbs in them, and he told me that they were fairies. He'd travelled to places where fairies were supposed to be very prevalent, and ended up with orb filled pictures. So I definetly think that there is a big chance that they are fairies.

I agree, indigirl. I have given the pictures to my friend who is very spiritual. He will contact his clairvoyant friends and they will take a look at them.

Just for interests sake, you should check out the Coast to Coast website. It shows many people's picture anomolies. Best website for paranormal activity that I've come across. The pictures on the site are amazing, and updated daily.
THere's also a great exhibit at the New York Museum right now. It's all about pictures and their connection to the spiritual realm. Can't remember the name of it, but if you google New York Museum, it should be front and centre. It's a very big show.

The name of the show is called Photography and the Occult. A very thorough documentation of antique photography up to present day digital photographic anomolies, and so on...
People were very excited about it because of it's expansive research and collection of freaky pictures.
This was a month or so ago, so perhaps it's finished. I'm confident they have something on their back pages mentioning this. Perhaps, the show is on the road at another museum, now.
But, please check out the coast to coast back pictures. They update the site daily, and they have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of picture anomolies sent in from people all over the world, but mostly from the States and Canada.
I'm promise you, it's accessible and will keep you in the pursuit of this knowledge.
Please, keep me updated. Thanks

Hi, me again.
Sorry, it's at the Metropolitan Museum. Google Photography & the Occult at the Metropolitan Museum. It will take you right there. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

have you checked out the coast to coast pictures, yet?
I really hope that show travels to Vancouver! Right now, they are showing the works of Picasso 1930's at our museum. I'm definitely going to check it out.
