I was just wondering if anyone else on the boards here has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I've been dealing with it for a long time, and was just wondering if there was anyone here I could talk to about it.
*If this is too personal a question I understand-or PM me if you'd like*

As to my knowledge OCD can involve many different things. I know someone who has OCD about getting rid of spots and things in the skin. She will do it to such an extent her back bleeds.
I don't think I have any form of OCD (Though I could just be oblivious to it) but if you have any questions I'm more than happy to try and help if you want.

I don't know, I have never been tested, but I think I might. Sometimes I cannot stop repeating a certain motion, or I will feel compelled to move an object into the exactly right position, until it feels exactly right.

indigirl: I had ocd a few yeras ago. As a small child the "rituals" were harmless and few but when I was about 7 my ocd developed to a whole new level. I couldn't live a normal life, felt that i had to do numerous irrational things. behaviours that interfered with my everyday life. Like when I went to school I just couldn't step on those little cracks in the asphalt, and that made the short (about 200 metres) walk to school a hell :/ I also developed a fear of going to bed just because of all the rituals I had to do before being able to relax. I haven't got these problems anymore, got rid of most of it a few years ago but still get relapses, most of my rituals contain some sort of counting and symbolism.
