Those of you who haven't read my journal, please pray for my mom's family... last night my Uncle Ken died at 2:00 am from a motorcycle accident. He was my mom's little brother. <3

I've a little brother. ... and I know how I'd feel. .. even though I'd know he was ok. I will pray for your family. I hope they will honor what's in their hearts and let themselves feel all they need to feel.
*warm heart hugs*

*hugs all of Laurel's family* My Dad and his brothers ride bikes so I think I can understand how your family would feel. I'm thinking of you and your family and I'll light a "virtual" candle since we can't light real ones here

Time for my unique perspective Death isn't something to be mourned, focus on how he lived rather than how he died, and know that he's gone somewhere else now, it's not death, he's jsut taken a prolonged holiday to which you'll find him when you to take the journey. He'll be fine and probably have lots to tell you. In saying that, I hope everyones not being to sad, grieving is a normal emotional process for coping with loss. I'm sorry ; ;, but he really will be in a better place, and everything really will turn out to be fine . Be strong

I'm so SO sorry to hear about that Laurel! When I was 12 my mother died from cancer, and I deeply sympathize with what your family must be feeling right now. *GIANT hug* They will be in all my prayers and wishes, I hope in this time they can find some kind of comfort and allow the grief to bring them closer to their own spiritual centers. I'll also pray that you can be strong and be there for your mother, because I'm sure a lot is going to be effecting her in a very short amount of time. Let me know if you need to vent to anyone.
