Hey everyone! Made a site for my music and actually got the songs working on there. I'd love it if you'd all check it out! =) www.ephemeral.crystalmaiden.comPlz click on the links to listen and sign the guestbook when you're finished to let me know what you think - or I guess you can just write a comment here. Also, if you have music you'd like me to put on the site too, I'd be happy to - just leave me a message somewhere (here or on the site) and we'll work it out. ^^ Hope you all like!

I love the music CM! Would it be ok if I downloaded them all and burned a CD, say just for myself and maybe one or two other people? I wouldn't sell it or anything, it would just be for my own and the people's enjoyment.
Thanks for sharing and please do share more,
Kiva

Yes I'll be adding art, lyrics, and maybe some short stories or poetry. My main writing site is www.crystalmaiden.com though so my novels will be going on there. I'd really like to make it kinda a site for all of us to share creativity on - I think I'll also have a section called "Higher Vibrational Thoughts" where we can all put down our epiphanies/insights, etc. Feel free to burn the CD as long as you don't distribute it. ^^ When I recorded the songs I titled the CD "Ephemeral" so if you're looking for a title to write on the front that would be a good one. I'm really glad you like the songs! ^^ Just only burn one CD please, I can trust you but I don't know your friends, I'm sure you can understand my concerns. I can see my CD going from you, to your friends, and then they share it with their families and then their families show it to friends and then... well... you get the idea. =)

CM,
ok, I will just burn one for myself then.
That's a great idea. To make a site for all of us to share our creavity on. I look forward to seeing more.

Uriah - of course you can burn a CD for yourself! =) The title I gave the CD when i recorded it is "Ephemeral" so if you want to put a label on the CD that would be a good name to use. ^^
iSpeak2Angels - Thanks so much, I wrote Angels Rise Above for my mother after she passed away. =) My friend's baby girl absolutely went crazy for that song, I hear it was so cute, she started clapping and smiling and everything. It happens to be one of my favorites too.

I am listening to "Fading". The song is beautiful, and makes me cry. It remembers me of Arwen Undómiel, when she died after her beloved Aragorn came to the end of his life. This song is lovely bittersweet. It is like sunshine in autumn. Thank you for sharing.

Gemma - thank you so much! I wrote that song with my mother's death in mind, it was supposed to be from the perspective of my dad losing her. Here are the lyrics, if you're interested:
Fading
I never thought I'd be this helpless, So stranded and alone. I never thought that all the darkness Could enter my soul.
And I'm fading fast - Please save me, And wake me from this dream.
Chorus Why does it hurt to breathe? Why does it hurt to speak? When I say that I love you....
And now the rain is pouring harder And I don't know where to turn, Every time I try to spread my wings to fly I crash and burn,
And I'm fading fast - Please save me, And take away this pain.
Repeat Chorus
You were all I had, And you are all I need - And I miss you....
And now the rain is pouring harder And I don't know where to turn, Every time I try to spread my wings to fly I crash and burn.
And I'm fading fast - Please save me, And wake me from this dream.
Repeat Chorus
End! =) The other ones have lyrics too, I guess I should post those on the site along with the music, lol.

So I didn't write silliness when I wrote that this song reminds me of Aragorn and Arwen's tale... Yeah, please, post the lyrics.

If the songs all have lyrics are you going to record them with the lyrics and post them on the website?

Well, I need to start singing lessons. I've been told that I have a good voice but it needs training, but I'm still getting around to finding a teacher. =) When I can sing well, I'll record myself singing them along with the piano - but my dad runs a recording business and has offered to have some of his singers do the music, so I think I'm going to take him up on that. The really cool thing is that he has a guy who writes out keyboard, drum, bass, and lead guitar parts for the music. When I get the finished product, I'll let you guys know. ^^

"Not the fame is important, but the sharing of your music" I think you already know this. No matter if someone else sings your songs, we are all eager to hear them. You have a talent. I played the piano for three years but I began to hate it when I was like an ape in the circus. When someone came to us, I was immediately introduced as the pianist of the family and they often asked me to play a song. But I liked to play for my own sake. This belonged to my personal world. Sometimes when nobody is at home, I still play my piano. You are lucky that you don't hate if someone is listening to you. Uhm... is someone is interested, I have my own photo-website, there are a lot of photos, made by me. (I don't wanna begin another thread, about my photos, it just popped into my mind to tell you about them, so if someone is interested in them, here is the link): gemma-nature.fotopic.netPlease take a look at it. When a photo is clicked on, it will be opened to full-size. Thank you.

Gemma, I like your photos, I'm actually a photographer myself. I don't have much of a porfolio yet but I love capturing nature's beauty for all to see.

Thank you so much Gemma! That's such a wonderful thing to say, I'm so touched. =) You are so kind. I'm must pleased that you all enjoyed the music! Hehe.
I struggle with shyness a lot, sometimes when I play the piano in front of people my hands actually start to shake cuz I get nervous (yeah, annoying, lol.) And speeches... don't even talk to me about giving a speech! When I perform on stage though, I've never really been shy and I love the attention. Because I have confidence in my music and my ability, for me it's not a question of getting up in front of people and trying to entertain, but rather sharing a part of myself with an audience who'll enjoy it. My mom also put me in dance for many years when I was young so that got me over stage fright, heh. ^_^
When I was young and first started playing the piano, my parents would do the whole "monkey trick" thing with me too where they'd want everyone to listen. But after I got a bit better I loved "showing off" to guests who came over, especially when I could play my own music; I think it's because I always got such positive responses from people and it was something that I really loved, lol. Even these days people will stop outside of my house to listen when I play and it warms me up inside. =)
I'm going to go check out those photos, Gemma! Thanks so much for sharing, I love looking at other people's art.
Oh, and confidence comes with experience; I know you'll all be showing yourselves soon. ^_^

I think it is hard to find the people who don't stomp on your heart when you show your heart them. This was always my main problem. I was always so trustful and everyone used me. But there is no anger inside of me. Hating them kills ME and not them. It has no sense. Piano was always my favorite. I love its song, because I sometimes hear piano-music when I dream. The piano has the voice of the moon. If the Moon would sing, she would do it so softly crying, and so full of love. The piano's voice is the voice of the Moon. It is a wonderful feeling when we are able to show ourselves to the world, to show them our heart and soul. Why is it so hard for them to respond us with love? My photos do speak about the nature. The Nature Mother Goddess. I feel the world in itself. There is no hermit-like, long-bearded strict-faced God for me. God or Goddess exists in the universe. From the littlest of the animals to the greatest of Galaxies. This is God. This is goodness. And I am able - we are able to feel it. This painting was made by Jonathon Earl Bowser, a painter. He says: "- The mystery of nature and the cosmos, and the mystery of the woman...are the same... - " When I look at this picture, I almost feel the chill of the early autumn mornings. I think I'll begin another thread of beautiful pictures. They are so relaxing, and they wake up thoughts in the mind.
