Today I was settling in for a nap, with no intention of projecting, but as soon as I lay down, I did it automatically. My body fell right asleep, but my mind was racing, and I began experiencing the most intense vibration I'd ever felt before a projection. I lifted out of my body and began hurtling through this tunnel with tons of bright lights. I got the intention of going to look at the city where I used to live, and I got there and saw a street corner for a few seconds before my roomate came into the room and started talking. I did my best to keep the projection going, but started going back through the tunnel and back into my body. Then I just fell asleep and woke up later. It was crazy and interesting, a great knowledge-gaining experience.

well, I always lock my room when I AP so people won't disturb me (I have very considerate flatmates so they probably wouldn't disturb me if I left my door wide open, they'd probably think I was asleep and close my door for me) It must have been wonderful visiting your old city again. I'm afraid I'm not too fond of any of the towns I grew up near. I'm in love with the surrounding farmland. It's a pity I have to live in the city at the moment. Well, my dream is to spend my life helping Iraq recover from the wars, so I suppose I'll have to leave both the cities and the farmland I know behind. I have been told this is a noble thing to want to do, but I don't think of it that way, I saw what was happening there, and I felt a great love for the victims, so now I would give my life to help them. The "textbook" ap methods only work for me if I only have a vague intention of getting out. My usual method is a bit different, I start by visualising the place I wish to go, then I gradually transfer more and more of my spirit there. My body is wide awake for this, but falls asleep shortly after the transfer is complete. Once out, I can go almost anywhere the moment I wish, I mean the speed of light is like creeping through a traffic jam compared to someone who's astral travelling at top speed!

jeremy, It is wonderful that you have found a calling that you feel so connected to, that is such a huge step in someone's life And, LOL, I think I'm going to have to get a lock for my bedroom door, because my roomates aren't always very considerate
