Higher-Vibrational Children and Dreaming

Chances are that if you are the grandparent/parent of an indigo or crystal child then you’ve heard about your child or grandchild’s dreams at least once. Perhaps he or she awoke in the middle of the night looking for comfort and reassurance after a terrible nightmare or maybe you were regaled the next morning with tales of fantastic visions. Either way, you’re probably looking for some way to help your child with their night time excursions.
One of the most important things in a young indigo or crystal child’s life is dreaming. When you sleep, you’re body is recharging itself and this leaves your soul free to go where it wants. The dream world is your everyday connection to the Real World (what is often called heaven or the other side) so it only makes sense that children would see it as what it is. Indigo and crystal children use their dreaming time to explore possibilities. I remember when I was younger I would go to all kinds of places. The opportunities are endless in REM sleep!
Another thing about the dream world is that there is the chance to recollect one’s knowledge. Since this is connection we all have to the Real World, knowledge that was buried deep inside us when we were born can be regained during sleep. Many children speak of dreams that have then tested or taught important skills - this is knowledge that was lost!
There are disadvantages to being free of one’s physical limitations though. Since the dream world is so extremely malleable any subconscious thought can be created in a dream; such as a fear. This is where the trouble of nightmares comes in… indigo children don’t usually have too much trouble with fear, unless they were suppressed somehow when they were younger, but crystals are much more sensitive. Higher vibrational children will create the things that scare them from the physical realm so they can face their fears head on, unfortunately this rarely works right away and the nightmares take on a will of their own.
If your child or grandchild is having recurring night terrors don’t worry, you can help them get through this! First of all, what you shouldn’t do is tell them that it isn’t real. To higher-vibrational children, the dream world is at least ten times more real than the physical world! What you can tell them is that it can’t hurt them. Use this as a way to encourage your children to develop their gifts; explain to them that they can control everything that happens in their dreams and that the scary thing in the nightmare is only scary if they believe it is.
Some children (especially indigos) may need something concrete to help them feel better. If the nightmares continue then help your child to clear their sleeping space and scare away the monster. A good way to do this is to ask your child to draw a picture of what is frightening them and then scribble all over it or tear it up, doing the same to the nightmare, or you can use stones like amethyst to boost the positive energy of the room. Meditation is beneficial in this as well because it creates a feeling of safety and peace.
Parents, we look to you for reassurance because you’ve been here longer than we have. You’ve adapted to life on this planet and we have not. But with your help, we can learn how to live spiritual in a physical world.
