Labelling The Higher Vibrations

Labels. They’re everywhere, we use them daily just to communicate! Most labels are simple words like cat, dog, cucumber sandwich; they’re there only to convey that something is a cat or a dog or a cucumber sandwich. They don’t assume anything else, they just are. These uncomplicated classifications are healthy and don’t distort our reality in any significant way. If only that were true for all labels…
It is a well-known fact that indigo children/adults are usually quick to reject labels of any kind. They just peel them off and discard them without a second thought. But we all knew that couldn’t last forever… to live in this world and communicate with other human beings we had to learn the labels - at least, a few of them anyway. It’s because of this acceptance that we have come to recognize a handful of labels meant to name the higher-vibrational children. For most of us this list includes lavender (which is actually a transitional colour between intermediary-vibrational energies and higher-vibrational energies), blue, indigo, crystal, and fully-awakened crystal (also known as rainbow, white, and/or many other names).
But recently new labels have been springing up seemingly out of nowhere… dozens of new names for the same energies. Because of this, confusion has erupted, leading to arguments and misunderstandings. I often find myself in opposition with another only because we’ve chosen to accept different names! It may have taken me a little while to realize it but what we need is not new names; we need a better understanding of the energies involved and how they are affected by labelling!
Those simple labels I mentioned at the beginning are placed on physical things that can be defined by our five senses. These things are verified by science and named by knowledgeable people. The labels fit because the thing being labelled is not likely to change anytime soon. Energy, however, is not limited by the same boundaries as physical things like animals, plants, and objects. It is also not easily perceived by the five senses and is currently not widely accepted by science. Energy is fluid and can completely alter it’s vibration without warning or even reason. This does not mean that just because we don’t know the rules we can just make them up, however! Just like the physical world, with physics and gravity, Energy has laws to follow as well, though they are much more flexible in comparison.
Energy transcends our understanding of the physical world. It is beyond labels and casts them off just as quickly as indigos. Because no two people have exactly the same vibration - even if it’s the same colour-energy - the labels we have created for the higher-vibrational children will not always fit perfectly. They also have a hidden, more harmful affect on people…
The brain is wired so that when one node is triggered, hundreds of others receive electrical energy as well. When you think of indigo children you’ll probably associate them with many other characteristics or concepts. Things like psychic, wisdom, awareness, highly intelligent, seen as AD/HD, and/or system busting may pop up to create the picture of indigo children that you know. But not all indigo children are psychic, not all of them are ready to accept wisdom, some are just like regular children, most aren’t labelled genius or AD/HD and a lot of them aren’t even children!
You may not be aware of it, but your brain assumes things when it comes to labels. Usually this doesn’t make a difference. A rock doesn’t use any form of audible language and animals rarely involve themselves in human sounds. A human being, however, is social and feels the need to fit in somewhere in order to be complete. Indigos sometimes end up feeling inadequate when they hear about psychic gifts that they have not experienced. Some assume that they are not indigo because they have been declared genius or super-psychic. Some people (not necessarily higher-vibrational) believe that they can’t ever be indigo because it’s such an exclusive group born only between certain years (not true, by the way, indigos can be any age at all). This causes a lot of trouble… especially with the newer, more complicated labels come into the picture.
What we need is simplicity. Why complicate something with confusing new labels if we haven’t even learned to understand the labels we have already accepted? We can’t be so compliant that we will latch onto any new label at all but we can’t be the other extreme and reject every label. Someday we’ll be back to pure meaning rather than language and we’ll have no need for labels but that won’t be a while. Until then, we need to recall what Confucius said, “Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated” and be careful with our labels. People are people, it doesn’t matter what energy they are.
