I know mental disabilities are dominate (as Ive read in many many Indigo books.) in the Indigo world, but are physical disabilities too? I believe I am an Indigo and all I have are physical disabilities, not physical. Is that a major determiner of an Indigo?

I think any sort of disabilities may show a hint of Indigo in those who are truly Indigo. It is not a major determining factor (at least, not that I know of) but it can be an indication that you're an Indigo. Not every Indigo has got a mental disability, so I think that it is very likely that some Indigos have got a physical disability instead. After all, body and mind work together and because the Indigos are here to throw down a lot of prejudice it is only likely that they don't only throw the prejudice surrounding mental disabilities away but also the prejudice which surrounds physical disabilities. At least, that's my train of thought.

well...it's not really a determiner...but really, what does it matter?
I've known some physically disabled people that could easily be indigo, some who are simply really sweet people, and I've known some physically disabled people that act like the world owes them something...and they seem far from indigo.
...anyway...my point is, Indigos can come from anywhere. while many indigos have mental disabilities, many indigos do not, and many people with mental disabilities are not indigo. I'm sure that applies to physical disabilites, or anything else you'd compare indigos to...they come from all walks of life.

If it isnt such a determining factor, then why do most Indigo books concentrate on the mental disablility portion?

well, that first sentence, I was talking mostly about physical disabilities.
...as far as the books go though...because they lose sight of what's important in Indigos--what's in their hearts, their messages to the world.
...many Indigos (at least, in America) are labelled as having a mental disability such as ADD...but it's often not actually a disability--it's just that the doctors and teachers don't understand and can't deal with the kids, so they slap a diagnosis down that allows them to feed the kids pills, so they'll do well in school. At least, that's been my experience with it...I became a machine of a student when I was taking Ritalin/Adderall/Zoloft. I told my parents it wasn't working...it worked in that, it was what the doctors and teachers and my parents wanted...but it wasn't ME. I was a machine...my emotions were gone in a flurry of schoolwork. Anyway, yeah, my experience with it.
...I would bet the books focus on that to let the parents that may be reading them know that their child may not need treatment, because they don't technically have a disorder.

I've often thought about disabled indigo's. If you could be consciously aware of yourself coming to a human form, you could give yourself the disability as an excuse to get what you wanted out of that "life". You could do it for any reason really, to experience life on earth, be with a loved one. It's free reign with an open consciousness. The world is so depressing and stressful nowadays. To have a disability and know your on a spiritual path is pretty smart to me.

I have had rheumatoid arthritis ever since I was a little girl. I am not certain of my own aura color, though.
I believe that indigos, crystals, and others with higher vibrations are just as likely to have a physical disability as anyone else. I do not think being indigo makes you more likely to have a physical disability. But, it might make you more sensitive to those with disabilities. <3
