Today, while my mother and I were out driving, (It was raining, but not that hard) the radio stopped for a time frame between 3 and 5 minutes. It didn't do what it usually did when it lost a signal (which is switch to another station until the signal returns), it just turned off. The switch was still on, however. Then the lyrics to a song I haven't heard since April popped into my head, and as soon as the power returned to the radio, I changed the station. The song that had popped into my head began playing a few seconds after I switched the station

Wow, that's interesting! Think about the lyrics of that song; do they mean anything to you? And is that song meaningful to yourself or others? I feel a deceased relative or angel may have been trying to send you a message.
My grandfather, or my mom's father, passed away before I was born. But on birthdays, and special occasions, his favorite song or a song that my aunt used to sing in the car when she was little, always plays. These are old songs which we don't hear too often, so it's always exciting when we do, and it always has meanings.
Whenever we pass by a certain house, that my mom says resembles a house my dad liked, or something, this song plays. Last month, it was my older cousin's birthday, and the song my aunt used to sing in the car played. Before my piano recital, I asked my grandfather to help me get through it and to watch me, and his favorite song played at the restaurant we went to after the recital. There were also a few times when I was visiting my uncle and a song about relatives visiting brothers (and my uncle is my mom's brother) came on.
So as you can see, my grandfather uses various songs at certain times to communicate with us, and we know this and appreciate it.
Also, when my great-grandmother passed away, my mom found some cookies in the store with her name on it (and her name is uncommon!) and I see her name on several objects, such as maps and cabinets, and I saw her initials on a license plate (and her initials are uncommon as well). We appreciate these messages, and let them know this.
Whenever I need help, or feel lonely or scared, I ask my angels/deceased relatives to send me messages so I know they are there.

Maybe.. But the song doesn't really mean much to mean. The specific lyrics that popped into my head were "I want something you have, I want it oh so bad."

So, you want something somebody else has. That has a lot of meaning to me. Take it to heart. I take it as, you want something that somebody else has and aren't appreciating what you have. That's just my two cents. Good luck!

Well.. There's this girl I really like and she just broke up with her boyfriend I know she likes me (She told her best friend who happens to be one of my best friends) And alot of other guys keep hitting on her.
Could that have anything to do with it?

Hmm, maybe. I'm not sure, though. It could be that, in more of a physical/earth sense, or more like a spiritual sense. Look inside yourself, or ask in your mind something like this, "If this was supposed to be a message, would the soul or being that sent it please send me another message or clarify? I'm not sure I understood. Thank you!"
Then simply be patient and wait, and when you least expect it, you may receive a second message! Good luck!

Be patient and observe your surroundings. Depending on how alert I am, after asking for a sign, sometimes I get one as soon as the next day, and sometimes it can take as long as a month. But usually your guides, deceased loved ones, and angels send you signs periodically even if you don't ask; you just have to "be on the lookout" for the signs, and appreciate and acknowledge them.

Interesting thing is I've never met/ had a conversation with my spirit guide.

Oh, neither have I, not consciously, at least. But the soul/spirit/being who gives you the message may or may not be your spirit guide. It could be a deceased relative, someone from a past lifetime, a guardian angel, etc. Also, you don't have to personally meet or have a conversation with your spirit guide for them to help you.

Interesting. I had a tarot reading about a month ago, the person giving me the reading told me my ancestors were trying to talk to me.

There you go! Try to listen to your ancestors. Tell them that you aren't quite understanding what they are trying to tell you, and ask if they can try again, and let them know that you appreciate their efforts and ask them to please keep trying.

Spirit Guides can be deceased relatives or ancestors as well. they aren't necessarily not related to you and can come in many forms.

Hm.. During dinner, a squeking(sp?) sound kept on going off, and it wasn't a dog or cat since the cats were in their crates, and the dogs were laying down. About 15 minutes later, a beeping sound coming from my parent's bedroom went off. It may have been my step dad's cell phone, but his phone hasn't made that sound before.

What kind of squeaking sound exactly? Could you tell its general direction? Could it have been someone's fork against their plate? LOL, I know that sounds silly, but I like to consider everything before drawing a conclusion.
And the beeping sound...are you comfortable with your step-dad? If so, ask him politely what he thinks it was. Or ask your parents what they think it was. Could it have been a stop-watch, or an alarm-clock?
That could definitely be a message though. What I do is I consider the logic of the situation first, i.e. What are the chances of something like this happening, and what would make sense? . I also then try to think about the meaningfulness of the occurrence. Think also how this may correspond to the first instance, when the lyrics in your head were the same ones that came on the radio a short while later. It may help you figure out what they are trying to tell you, if this is a message, if you can logically link the two together.
Good luck!

It came from the office, which is at the front end of the house. No one's been in about a week.. Our living room is about mid-way in the house. My mom's stop watch doesnt make that kind of beeping sound, and I don't even know if they have an alarm clock.
I don't know if they're trying to send me a message still or if they are just trying to get a stable source of communication to me

Hmm, I don't know. The beeping could have been a malfunctioning alarm clock...I doubt it, but maybe...and the squeaking could have been...a computer, maybe? LOL... Did you ever consider asking your parents/step-dad if they heard the noises as well, and if they did, ask what they think they were? But it could have been a message...however, a squeaking sound and a beeping sound doesn't sound too meaningful to me, so it would still be hard for you to guess what they were trying to say...that's why I'm kind of doubtful that it was a message...maybe though!

The computer was moved toward the backside of the house because it broke and had to be repaired, and for some reason hasn't been moved back yet. If it's not a sign, I'll just keep my eyes/ ears open.

Wow, yes. Try asking your ancestors, "Were the noises I heard supposed to be a message? Would you mind clarifying? Thank you."
