A Healthy Indigo Diet by Laurel Chaisson Higher-vibrational children are extremely sensitive to their environment. While their surroundings have quite an affect, little distresses them more than an unhealthy diet. While children living in lower vibrations may not be greatly affected by unnatural sugar, synthesized food, or chemicals, highly sensitive indigo and crystal children often react by becoming hyperactive, depressed, sick, or even allergic. Crystals are especially influenced by their eating habits. The first thing to do is to remove or reduce your child’s intake of unnatural sugar. Because they are already bursting with energy anything extra is just too much! Indigo children often suffer from hyperactivity or an inability to focus because of the energy buzzing everywhere around them. On the other hand, crystal children can become easily exhausted as well as hyperactive. Children who already eat a lot of sweets should be eased away from unnatural sugar instead of a sudden switch because this may upset their systems as well. Talk to them about eating more healthily and start it as a family if you can - this will encourage them and make everyone happier. Fruits are vegetables are already full of natural sugars so they make a good replacement. Although synthesized sweeteners may seem like a good alternative, many contain Aspartame or Phenylalanine. It’s best to steer away from anything that says ‘diet’ or ‘fat free’ on the package unless it also says ‘does not contain aspartame’. In fact, aspartame is virtually everywhere despite the fact that in large amounts it is toxic. If it has caused anxiety disorders, severe headaches and even seizures in some cases, imagine the affect it may have on higher-vibrational children? (you may want to look up more information on aspartame toxicity) In some cases, indigos or crystals may want to cut something completely out of their diet, such as red meat or animal products altogether. Vegetarian and Vegan lifestyles are perfectly healthy and should be respected if your child wishes it. It is necessary then to talk to your doctor or dietician to find out how to provide the right amount of protein. For some reason, a few indigos and crystals have an aversion to milk (although they like milk products) or even allergies to it so you may need to find other sources fro daily calcium. Most importantly, remember that higher-vibrational children know what their bodies need. Allow them to use their intuition to tell them what they need, as long as you help them distinguish that from what they want! © Laurel Chaisson 2005

Hmn... I should probably be heeding this advice. My diet is so unhealthy it's not even funny...
I wonder if it's possible for someone to completely become a carnivore and still be healthy... Wait... that's the Atkins diet... XD

Hi Very true these insights about an Indigo's diet. Personally, I try to survive by having only veggies, fruits, nuts, egg and fish. Water to drink... perhaps an occasional glass of red wine Dr. Joseph Mercola shares some great wisdom for free on his website: www.mercola.com. love Michael

This is SO IMPORTANT. Even for children. Toby Alexander: #Ashwaganda ayurvedid herb#Rhodiola (high dose)#Panax Ginseng# Holy Basil#DHEA no more than 20 mg#Magnesium ascorbate.#Gluthatione, the most important antioxidant of the body. #acai fruit

.. Uhh.. you're suggesting INGESTING hydrochloric acid?
Sorry bud ^_^;; As much as I like new ideas that aren't trying to sell me stuff [even though this is] Saying that taking in a corrosive acid ... uff..
And the digestive enzymes are already in your stomach working away.

Pruuf, you're a lot of intensity man. Would you consider channeling that into more of a back and forth with us, rather than a constant flow out? I'd love to see what it could generate. I think it could be a very positve thing for all. As for the original post, Laurel, I totally agree about following what our bodies tell us. I have always enjoyed a pretty good dialogue with my own and when I try to go against that in whatever way (including what anybody else might think is healthy) it always back fires. Cultivating that mind/body/spirit relationship is, imo, the best thing we can do for ourselves.

it's written before eating animal protein, maybe to digest it easier. i dont know the substance. yes listen to what the body desires. a lot less enzymes are in todays food, so it's good to supplement. especially when eating non organic.

I'd d a little more research before taking or suggesting anything like that... the internet is full of scams, unfortunately.
Anyway, most of these vitamins and pills and blahblah, etc contain exactly what we culd find in more natural sources! Food that's good for us looks good for us. Most fruits and veggies are bright, eye-catching colours -- naturally appealing to our brains and chock full of healthy goodness!

"most" fruits. sometimes that's an illusion. like with some tomatoes, look big and shiny red and taste like nothing. in italy there are the last original tomatoes, a bit smaler but taste awesome! supplementation is only supplementation, sure we desire to eat healthy fruits and vegetables. yes do a research on the HCL , for I do only eat animal protein rarely, not my field of interest

Ok well I did a quick bit of checking around...
Apparently you can take HCL with food. But it's ONLY recommended if you lack your own HCL that your body produces. So don't just take it willy nilly.
I'm pretty certain it said to take it in some pill form. Which makes more sense. Just seeing someone saying "drink HCL" didn't make sense.
I also think its a diluted form, because pure HCL can burn a hole through pretty much anything.
There's also a way of balancing the acids in your own body without having to supplement with pills of the stuff.. Either way, I wouldn't take it all.

maybe because lots of people have "acid reflux", I too do citrone to my meat, to digest it better. kevin trudeau has written many pages about "acid reflux disease", which is simply lack of acid. book: more natural cures revealed . page 84. he suggests to get 1. raw apple cider vinegar 2. digestive enzymes, ideally with "betaine hydrocloric acid". here we have it
