Hiccups

..anything I ever do is only a temporary fix...I don't know of anything that lasts through the whole day. Sugar can sometimes help...water helps.
Maybe keep drinking water throughout the day? I usually drink to stop the hiccups and then forget about 'em til they come back.

Haha, I usually get rid of them by holding my breath for about five minutes. If that doesn't work I go visit my friend Dawn, who can usually think of something to give me a massive fright.

I usually put some water in my mouth, flip my head upside down and swallow that way. I dunno, it almost always works with me. I think where hiccups are concerned, even though it's a physical occurrence it seems as though it's only a mental effort that makes them go away. There's been times that I've just told myself "no more hiccups!" and if I focus on that long enough they'll stop. I dunno, just a thought. Hehe.

Basically anything that alters your breathing pattern has a chance of stopping hiccups. If you are having them for very long periods of time, like over a day, it would be a good idea to have a doctor have a look as it could be signs of some kind of medical condition.
