Hi there Pruuf
Yeah! Go for it. I bought a book on raja yoga, that seeks union through the mind. But the website shows that Kriya yoga involves doing things, rather then non-thinking. This is known to be a prerequisite to most forms of yoga. Bhakti yoga is also a prerequisite. The first parts of Raja yoga, the restraints or vows that one take and the observances, or how I like to put them[, what not to do, and what to do] These things form the 8 fold path of Buddha, although the 8 fold path is more detailed, and therefore more complicated perhaps.
But I have (from today) been thinking about buying a book on Karma Yoga. First...I am going to ask my parents how I can be of service to humanity.
Good luck Jacques
