What would you guys say about higher vibrational people and substance abuse?
I'm sure there are many higher vibrational people who've turned to drugs and alchohol because they had no other way to cope with being "different".
As for me, I've decided to not get involved with drugs or drinking (ever since I was a teen) because I was afraid of drugs and alchohol messing up my life.
Through abstaining from the stuff, I've learned to cope without substance abuse.
I've also got into eating more healthily, so it's a health-related issue, too.
I'm also a female, and I could easily pack on extra bulges of fat if I drank alot of beer and other booze, so I don't touch the stuff. After 4 years after losing a good amount of wieght and keeping it off, I woudn't wanna pack the weight on again.
I also want to feel more stable and aware, and yes know what the heck I'm doing.

I myself got into substance abuse, mainly with cannabis, and I would say...NOT GOOD besides the uncontrollable effects the drug has, it has damages the brain, especially the memory, and increases schizophrenia.
Now though, I stay away from ciggarettes, and don't drink much.
Becuase of a drug past, and many other factors besides that have caused stress, I feel that I am floating around in a bubble. I need to get a hold of that damn steering mechanism.
Drugs are not worth it. Period.

I've stayed away from drugs. after having the negative effects drilled into your head, knowing that some people out there are screwed for life because they're druggies...yeah. no thnx. at this point in my life, I wouldn't mind trying pot, but if I never do, I wouldn't mind either. I will never do anything else though. I don't like the flavor of alcohol...top that with a bad experience that left me thinking I couldn't trust ANYONE the first time I got drunk, and I'm not planning on drinking much, and certainly not to get drunk. I've smoked about the equivalent of 1 1/2 cigarettes back in the day. it was kinda ~shrug~ eh. I never developed a habit for it, and now I can't tolerate being near someone smoking or someone who recently smoked. I used to spend the night at a friend's house whose parents' smoked, and the next morning I'd have a sore throat...by the afternoon, I'd be sick. it really sucks, I wish I could tolerate it better. I used to be able to, I dunno what happened. I've lost friends from this, since I couldn't hang around them anymore.

I've actually been able to stay pretty much away from drugs. Which is surprising considering what a life I've had so far. I've only smoked 2 or 3 times and had weed about 2 or 3 times as well. I don't drink much alcohol at all. I've never been drunk and have very senitive body systems anyways. I can't even put make-up on my skin is so senitive. Not that I want to be able to put make-up on anyways. I was never really afraid of drugs, I just didn't do a lot of them. I found other ways to cope such as being a music geek, etc.

I've never touched weed or cigarettes so far and I almost never drink alcohol. I think cigarettes really stink and I don't like the taste of alcohol. I also don't like to get addicted to drugs, so that's why I don't experiment with it.

legal drugs like caffiene and alcohol are just as bad really...In a healthy balanced diet. I read that caffeine taken every day in the form of a cup of tea or coffee to wake oneself up is a sure sign of addiction. 'Tis alright if you aren't trying to break through addictions.

Weed is a plant that has been used for spiritual purposes such as meditation in cultures for thousands of years. I believe it is a good way to commune with nature, and that it's legal status is misleading and shouldnt interfere with whether or not you choose to use it. It is much safer and healthier than alcohol.

I think it is ok to use drugs religiously or in controlled environments for specific purposes, but not as a hobby. Religious use of drugs is usually at specific times with specific rules to follow and is not addictive in nature.
