Of course there are a lot of another things to speak of and I agree that they are far more interesting but religion won't die. If not from true heart, then from money-thirsting, but it will be always on its way.
And the most saddest: lot of people NEED something to have faith in it. They feel lost, they are in despair. If mankind doesn't help them, they will turn to any kind of preachers. Money, power, faith.

Money and power are not real, and faith is exploited in an insulting, sub-culture, consumer media, but you already know that.
Gemma, you have to let go of your fear. Be determined to not be a victim, because it's not real. It's all just made up. Be clear every day that no matter what the world throws you into, you're going to go out with a clear conscience.
I want you to understand what I mean. You have to own your own life. You were born by your parents, but now your body is yours. Take leadership if you have to, but ultimately YOU have to be the change you want to see with your own eyes. No one else changing will ever satisfy you as much, as you changing yourself. Be the change, GEMMA.

That's what I needed!!! Thank you! As for the job: yesterday I called them up, they said that I was still the best, but they hadn't had time but it is almost 100% that I will be the chosen one.

What do you believe, Jeremy?

CM,
Yes, I believe we create a "plan" for ourselves before we come here. Spiritual Psychology: The Twelve Primary Life Lessons by Steve Rother talks about this.
Hell is also a state of consciousness IMHO as is Heaven.

What do you believe, Jeremy? Well, CM's post on the end of page 2 of this thread says it better than I could. I believe in a creator that loves his (default personal pronoun, don't think I'm being gender biased) creation too much to destroy any of it out of anger. Oh sure that doesn't encapsulate my beliefs in their entirety, but all the beliefs I value follow on from that one.

Gave you some karma, Kiva! Don't know why you don't have more, lol! That's very interesting Jeremy, it's good to see that we share a bit of the same beliefs. ^_^

Somehow I feel that this lyrics belongs here, to open mind and open heart. It is a song from Enigma.
That's not the beginning of the end That's the return to yourself The return to innocence
Love - Devotion Feeling - Emotion Love - Devotion Feeling - Emotion Don't be afraid to be weak Don't be too proud to be strong Just look into your heart my friend That will be the return to yourself The return to innocence
If you want, then start to laugh If you must, then start to cry Be yourself don't hide Just believe in destiny Don't care what people say Just follow your own way Don't give up and use the chance To return to innocence That's not the beginning of the end That's the return to yourself The return to innocence
Don't care what people say Follow just your own way Follow just your own way Don't give up, don't give up To return, to return to innocence. If you want then laugh If you must then cry Be yourself don't hide Just believe in destiny.

Uh-huh. I left my job (by the old lady) You know I was working there, taking care of her, cleaning her, cleaning her home, cooking, etc. Well, one day she said to me "Leave immediately, pack your things and go" and later she told to me "God f**k you!" and "Your pregnant dog mother" and "the thingy of your mother!" (Sorry, these were here words). And then I slapped her hand a little.
She caused me a lot of emotional pain. And guess what - later she called her son and told him "Come home immediately, I am lying here, beaten to death"
Her son wasn't angry with me - at all. All the other women were chased away by her mother in the past, so he knows what to believe.
I feel better now. It feels better that I left this job. I don't know what caused me to do such a job. As I remeber all these things: cleaning an old woman, the smell of her urine... I still wonder, How was I able to do such things? Maybe I should be proud of myself but all I feel is chaos. Money drove me in, and I wasn't able to handle the old ***
I feel better. Everytime I make such things I feel stronger than ever, but I don't have so much empathy in me anymore as once I had. I think it is better so. Too much empathy causes pain for me.
1. if something doesn't kill you, then it makes you stronger 2. never give your soul anyone whom you barely know 3. never let money drive you insane

I like your point 2 Gemma We all have our public face, which has ways of defense, using a way with words to keep our true selves backed away safely from harm. And our private face, we can share with very few, where we feel completely safe with others. That old lady sounds a little bitter.. Not a very nice person it seems, I am glad you feel better though

Wow Gemma, I'm sorry that woman turned out to be a witch! I think it shows a lot though - that you're willing to go through all that nastiness to help someone. =) At least it was an experience and the young man understood that you didn't do anything to harm the lady, hehe, I take it the situation could have gotten a lot worse if her family had come to her defense against you. *Wonders how anyone could be so mean to someone like you.* BTW, I redownloaded the songs you sent us and the copies I have are much clearer and higher sound quality, would you like me to send them to you in an email? I LOVE the music so much, I can't stop listening to it, haha. Do you know of any other good songs by that artist? (Within Temptation) Oh and about the empathy thing, I struggle with it too, especially when people act mean towards me or slightly negative it hurts me very deeply. On the bright side though, I'm learning that I can be sensitive while not letting in the negativity, while not having to build a wall around me - I think a large part of it has to do with me needing to accept that negativity can only effect me as much as I let it effect me. Eh, blah blah blah, I was just trying to say I understand what you mean lol. =P BTW, MERRY CHRISTMAS SWEETY! *giant hug*
